Thanks to the members of
NAPM-Memphis. As a result of your efforts, the United States
Marine Corp picked up 72 toys that were contributed to the program by our
members. As a result, 72 local children will have something to open on Christmas
that wouldn't have had a gift without our membership giving as they did. This
program was a success!!!!! We owe a debt of gratitude to you for your
generosity.

History of NAPM Memphis: 1944 to Present |
The original group of purchasing practitioners convened at some time during the early years of World War II and called themselves the Shelby County Purchasing Agents Association. Records indicate that the majority of those members were women, apparently because of the war. The first president of this group was H. R. (Pappy) Graves of the National Fireworks Company. click here for a complete timeline of the development of the NAPM Memphis affiliate |
